of course it's a bit stupid to sum up an event 10 days after it's over
but what are 10 days in comparison with a whole month of intrigue and tension and thrill that we've lived through?!
and what are 10 days in comparison with the 4 years of waiting for the next mundial?
...and if i hate World Cup 2010 so much, then why do i smile every time that i hear Shakira's Waka Waka when i'm shopping?..
and yet, i have 7 reasons to hate this mundial: Russia, Serbia, Italy, Argentina, Germany, Uruguay, The Netherlands
and there are 7 people i feel most sorry for: Yuri Zhirkov, Vladimir Stojkovic, Fabio Quagliarella, Diego Maradona, Thomas Müller, Luis Suarez, Giovanni Van Bronkhorst.
and possibly Keisuke Honda, with Japan becoming the 8th reason. but no, i prefer the number 7.
and there are 7 things that will forever stay in my memory when reminded of the World Cup 2010: THE TEARS OF FABIO QUAGLIARELLA, THE EMOTIONS OF DIEGO MARADONA, THE SAVE BY LUIS SUAREZ, HOW THE SOUTH AMERICAN TEAMS WHERE FIRST COOL AND WINNING AND THEN LOSING, THE DESPICABLE REFEREEING, VUVUZELAS AND PAUL THE OCTOPUS.
and while i say that this was something i would like to erase from my memory, i buy the PANINI sticker album and start collecting stickers like when i was like 8.
