Some people have a lot of pride. Even when they need help, really need it, they won't take it. I guess they're even insulted by those you try to give it. It's silly, even stupid sometimes, but you can't always do anything about it. Some you can get to if you keep trying, some you can't, but either way you can't let them get to you, Roll.

It's not easy, but you have to remember different people have different views. If someone is doing something.... well, stupid, then they have a reason. They don't think it's stupid themselves or they wouldn't do it; they've somehow come to the conclusion that what they're doing is the best path. If you can keep that in mind, it helps.
