I have never been so motivated to do something in my life. I want to get a 4.0 this semester. I want to get not just my BA in Comparative Literature, but also achieve a Masters in Comparative Literature (emphasis probably in Latin American culture) and also a Masters in Teaching. Then eventually a doctorate. I'm REALLY into school and I'm really excited about it. I love sitting in class talking about literature and talking about different cultures. I finally feel at home at the academic institution. I'm considering prolonging my graduation in order to add a second major or a certification in Latin American studies or to travel abroad. I had two great discussions today with teachers I work with and they both inspired me to pursue my educational thirst. Goddammit, I can do it.
