WELL...
I saw the band Extreme last Sunday for free outside government center. That was amazing not only because Extreme is a kick ass late 80's early 90's rock band, but also the fact it was their first performance together as the full band in over 10 years!! So it was definitly one of the more memorable Boston moments in music.
I don't remember what day it was, but last week the science museum had college night, so I went with Katelyn and Karl. It was really cool and we took a lot of pictures. I had gone to college night with Marcus and the 3rd floor of 270 during my first semester back in 2002, but this time was better cause we didn't have to worry about meeting up with any groups. We walked back along the river. I thought the Hood blimp was the moon cause it was at a wierd angle, but after seeing it move fast and that wierd red line through it, we soon realized as it turned that it was in fact a blimp... classic moment. you had to be there
This past weekend was great! Kronriders last show ever was so amazing! In fact, it was so good all I could think about after was how fast I would put them on my label if I was an A&R guy. they really have a unique and pleasing style with influences strongly based around U2 delayed guitars, Rush drums and bass, a hint of funk rock and their own unique vocal styles. (all 3 members sing which is rare and awesome). I hope one day soon they realize how great they are and really go for it, cause they have everything going on. after the show crazy Daniel and Katelyn came over to watch Conan. My sleep schedule got all crazy, but both nights were really great. and both days were lazily spent, but it was ok cause all I was thinking about was the nights!
slow monday, had a class, an office hour, work, music business club and I think I'm chillin with Katelyn and the crew soon. so I must leave you now. rock on
