Happy Valley
It's nice to be back. Miss you guys, but I missed State College, too. Lisa abandoned me this weekend to go home with her boyfriend. And I was a little worried because I realized that I don't know all that many people up here right now. But I went to dinner on Friday night with my other roomate, Christine. That was really nice. And then I was talking to Matt Gardner on IM yesterday and he invited me to a party in his apartment complex. It turned out to be a ton of fun, we owned at pong (I got better as I drank more, he got worse - it was pretty funny) and his friends are all really, really nice. I met some really cool people. Then because Matt lives far away and the buses only run until 1 a.m. I stayed over his place. We talked for about an hour before we went to bed and it was just really nice. We were both still a little drunk but it was a very honest conversation and he talked to me about his commitment fears and just everything.
And my mom thinks it's weird for me to be friends with someone I like so much -- but to me it just feels right.
And Lisa just called me with a whole conglomeration of plans for tonight which, because it's Lisa, include going to a creek to fill a tank to put tadpoles in ... hahaha.
