Some updates...
It's been real hard to keep up with everything and everyone lately. A lot has been happening. Here's some bullet points in a nutshell... (no particular order)
+ Erin and I broke up. Things are good between us, we've been living together still and will remain friends. Some things just aren't meant to be, I guess.
+ I got keys to my new apartment (today). It's off Bloomfield road (2nd street) in Rolling Meadows apartments. Apartment I-18. I should be sleeping there by the weekend, I'd guess.
+ I'm not sick. In fact, I feel fine (beyond a slight cold, like everyone else). Yes, I have cancer (news to you? read a few posts back). They removed the tumor in my left testicle (in fact, they removed the entire thing) and I recovered just fine. But my recent blood works shows that I have embryonic cancer cells in high concentration even higher than I did when I had the tumor in me. Which brings me to...
+ I'm starting chemotherapy. I'm meeting with a doctor tomorrow to confirm, but this is the path is looks like I'm going to be taking. The type of cancer cells I have are very bad, and although they haven't formed any tumors yet (beyond the one they removed) they are flowing in my blood ready to metastasize at any time anywhere in my body. So the chemotherapy should be able to stop it dead in it's tracks before it does and completely cure me. Hopefully... I'll know more tomorrow when I meet with the doctor in Indy.
+ Arden: The World of William Shakespeare has officially lost it's funding. I'm looking for a new job on campus so I can enjoy my new apartment and be close to people who care about me for the remainder of my treatment.
We should have enough funding to pay me all the way through the new year, but hopefully I'll have a new place lined up by then.
+ My little sister just had a birthday. If you see her, wish her a happy birthday!
+ I've been dating this nice girl in Indy quite a bit. She's super nice and we have a lot in common. It seems she's even willing to put up with all this cancer crap... Makes a boy feel special :)
+ My Corsair in Final Fantasy XI just hit level 70. Should have my 2nd level 75 within the next 2 weeks. Yay! ;)
