Another One Bites The Dust...
Well I was so ready to gush about the wonderful weekend I had.. besides the working all day saturday and sunday.
But I was walking hoem from work today, a good 45-50 min walk? And I took that time to try calling up some people to catch up. I left my friend Katie a voicemail and she called back sounding very low, and thats unlike her and she was all, "I guess you haven't heard..". I was like, oh lord what.
She goes on to tell me that Bo, the bass guitarist for my dear friends, the band The 5 L's, died last night in a car wreck. Not suprisingly so.. he was driving home, drunk.. and hit a car head on. It's hard to feel bad for such a reason. But as pissed as I am, I still hurt for him and his family. As much as it was his fault.. I still can't be mad at him, what's done is done. And I hurt too bad for his children, as well as one on the way.
I grew up with this band basically. Anyone who has been with my journal in the beginning knows about this band and how close I was/am with them and how much I just absolutely adore all of them. Bo was actually the one I was least close to.. since he was the quietist and shyist one of the group. But when we did chat and hang out at shows he's just the sweetest most softspoken guy.

god i wish i had all of my nagatives scanned from when i took pictures at every show I went to, I only have a couple scanned of The 5 L's, but have taken TONS of them. So I am annoyed to say I only have this one pic with him in it. >_< pisses me off because I know I have more.
Ah, this was probably the last time I saw him actually. Thanksgiving Night 2004. Bo's the one sitting on the bed in the hat, beside him is my friend Katie.
This is when The 5 L's opened for Slayer in Atlanta, GA. Katie and Javi came down to visit me in GA and we all went to see the boys play and watch Slayer then afterwards chilled out with the boys.
Gosh im so upset I dont have proper access to all my photos, errgh. It's how I document my life. I need to get teh rest of the scanning done.
Anyhow..
You will be missed Bo. No one's ever going to replace you're mad bass skillzzzzz *hugshugshgushugggssss*...
