Letter from a customer to my managers

I got called into the office today, and was handed a copy of this note, it made my day as I was thanked by my management and asked to keep up the awesome work. Read on if you wish.

To the Managers of CompUSA in Orion Township, Michigan.

I recently shopped in your Orion township store and wanted to share my experience with you. Upon entering team member Jamie greeted me immediately. He asked in a very pleasant and upbeat voice if he could help me. I said that I was looking for a laptop computer. Jamie pointed me in the direction of the computer department, and said he would page a sales person to help me.

When I entered the computer department, Doug asked if I was the one interested in a laptop computer. I replied in the affirmative. He said that he was finishing up helping another customer, and would be with me in just a moment. Within seconds, Doug was back with me, apologizing for the delay. He introduced himself to me, and asked for my name. After getting my name, Doug welcomed me to CompUSA.

Doug greatly diagnosed my needs, asking what I would be using the laptop computer for. I explained that it would be used in my home, primarily by me. As Doug and I were discussing speed, memory, and other capabilities I might be interested in, Doug was showing me different laptop computers. I told Doug that I had seen a new Toshiba Satellite advertised that had caught my attention. He said, "smart choice", and showed me several different Toshiba Satellite models. We discussed rebates that were being offered on the different models, and what might benefit me best in screen size, etc.

After receiving much information on the products, and services offered by the store, I decided to buy the system. Afterwards Doug, graciously, thanked me for coming into the store. He walked me up to the front of the store, and said he hoped he could help me again in the future. He gave me an ad for the store before I left.

I just wanted to let you know that I received world class service in your store today, Doug is a wonderful representative for CompUSA. He is polite, friendly, professional, and experienced. He treated me with respect, and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely go back to CompUSA for any of my computer needs. I would definately ask for Doug, It was a great experience, and I thank you for your time.

Thats right... and I'm the number 1 salesman 4 weeks in a row too, in all aspects of the store.
