R.I.P. 1992 - 2006
Well I laid my car to rest today, it was a good car, and took me many miles in the short 3 years we had together. I still remember it like it was yesterday, I was searching for my very first car, I didn't have alot money, $1000 in fact. My dad called me the day I was going to finance a car for alot of money, he said, lets go look at this one. So we went, and I really liked the car, It needed a little body work, but was only $700. We took it for a drive, and it rode very smooth, and was quiet. I decided that I wanted it, and I bought it. We drove it to my trailer that I was living in, it was early Fall 2003, I didn't even have my license yet, I got that the next day.
I mostly drove the car to work, but I did take it Great Lakes crossing a couple times, the last time I drove it there, was the day I met Meaghn. All in all I got my money out of that car, I put more than 35,000 miles on it in the last 3 years, I would say that it has paid for itself, and more.
Its time to say goodbye, cause of death is unknown, we'll just say natural causes. I am spending the next 2 days searching the lots around here for my next car, Talking with Meaghn and her mom, it looks like my budget is going to be $8,000. I don't know what I will get yet, but I will post an update when I find out.
