(no subject)
Hello everybody!
Greetings from yuklguy;sfyu;yhufr i am upside down
hahahahah my friends here are crazy ^^see above^^
I was writing today during one of my classes (i know, way to zone into something completely different, right?) But I decided that I've neglected my lj for too long and so here it is..
"I've decided to start this journal of sorts so as to record any thoughts or events which I deem worthy of mention. I do have to apologize, though, because even as I begin to write, I know I will not be writing every single day (unless, of course, the thrills of my college life exponentially grow). This is my second month of college, therefore I don't have enough time or motivation to recall and write everything that's happened thus far, but the more important/interesting events will inevitably come up in future entries.
"What I can say right now about college (between notetaking and listening in my Freshman Seminar here at Penn) is that it's a very necessary experience. At this point in your life you are invited from all around to justify who you are, to explain why you hold your beliefs, to challenge how well you can live on your own. You push your limits - how long can you go without sleep? How long can you wait to write that paper? How many times can you wear the same pants to avoid laundry?
"In all seriousness though, college is a great experience that everyone should experience. Although you may do things or come up with ideas that contradict previously held beliefs/ideas/theories, this only adds a key element to the growing-up process. Even though I've just begun this journey in college, I am already sure that because of these four years of education and independence I will be able to define myself more clearly and more definitively in the conclusion of this chapter in my life."
