Actually, the more I think about it, I don't think I want to go. I'm going to be dead at work that week, it's during the RNC, and I'd rather spend the money on Rilo Kiley until Travis has a real album. Michelle, you should go to Rilo Kiley!

That's the last of the shows Travis is doing solo, then he's doing shows with his new band (which includes 3 people on keyboards). I'd be interested in seeing one of those shows, but it looks like he's playing Boston like the only weekend in September I'm not going to be there.

Yeah... the NYC full-band Travis date is 10/9, Tom's wedding. Also, actually, the best NYC concert weekend of the year:

10/7 and 10/8: Rilo Kiley @ Bowery
10/8: Mountain Goats & Vanderslice @ Knitting Factory (with new Vanderslice tour manager Ms. Megan Wilson!)
10/9: Travis @ some new-sounding club
10/9: Beastie Boys @ MSG

But I'm sure he'll tour his ass off for this record so I'll see him next time around.
