Great for me.

Hey kids! I'm doing my first BMG run in a few years to stock up on older CDs that rarely dip below the $12-13 mark and even more rarely turn up in used bins. I've ordered my first chunk* but I'd like suggestions on the rest. I have four CDs left. One will probably be Sgt. Pepper's, cause it's weird that I don't have it. So, the other three: I'm looking for mainly older artists/albums, since the major-label-ness of BMG eliminates any newer stuff I'd want. I'm set for Bowie, and Dylan, and The Beatles. You know, the easy ones. So!

Recommend to me some major-label bands and/or soundtracks that you (a.) think I would like or (b.) think I should like. With a preference towards older stuff.

*Including Mandy Moore's Coverage. Who wants me to burn them a copy??**

**I don't have a burner. But due to a combination of incompetence and bad timing, two copies of Coverage are making their way to my door, presumably as karmic penance for wanting it at all, as previously, elaborately detailed in this journal, the name of which I'm thinking of changing to "Jesse vs. Coverage." So if anyone has a birthday coming up, let me know.
