Boroughing in

Not only did I not see any movies this weekend, I did not set foot in Manhattan after 5:30 or so on Friday. This might sound suspiciously like I slept and/or ate the entire time, but no. OK, on Friday we mainly slept and ate, and watched that Batman: Gotham Knight thing from Netflix, but on Saturday we took a long walk and then went into Astoria

How did you manage to get to Queens on a weekend without going through Manhattan? Did you take the G or run across the BQE?

We, by which I mean Marisa, just drove, actually. Yeah, it would otherwise take us probably 60, 70, 80 minutes to get there. But using the car (20 minutes), we see how actually-close it is (if only the G train went up there more often).
