Rock bulletin

I've already started formulating some ideas about what I should do here, but I thought I should open it up to y'all, both for informational and input purposes. So there's this big rock fest hitting the NYC area, only they don’t *exactly* get the concept right by having two locations, with two days' worth of shows at each. Confusing! Here are the lineups:

Saturday, 10/1, in Staten Island:
The Killers
New York Dolls
Interpol
British Sea Power
Tegan and Sara
The Ordinary Boys*
Lake Trout*

Sunday, 10/2, in Staten Island:
Oasis
Jet
Doves
The Lemonheads
Jesse Malin*
Redwalls*
+ someone else TBA

Saturday, 10/1, in Brooklyn:
Pixies
Gang of Four
Built to Spill
Rilo Kiley
Death from Above 1979
Mando Diao*
Nine Black Alps*

Sunday, 10/2, in Brooklyn:
Beck
Belle and Sebastian
The Polyphonic Spree
The Raveonettes
Gang Gang Dance*
Whirlwind Heat*
+ someone else TBA

* = I have no idea who this is, please tell me if they suck and/or are awesome or what.

Things to consider:

--I think I only want to go to one, although I could be persuaded to do two
--Oasis/Lemonheads would've been my dream concert in 1996
--They are also the only two bands in the entire lineup that I both really like and haven't seen
--But the rest of their lineup, possibly including the Lemonheads themselves, kinda sucks
--Going by # of CDs I own, Sunday in Brooklyn (13) beats out nearest competitor Saturday in Brooklyn (11)
--Saturday in SI is kinda cool, yet it is very likely that if it was a standalone concert, I wouldn’t go, possibly even if it was free
--Rilo Kiley tours all the time; by the same token, Beck isn't really finished with his touring for Guero album, and Built to Spill is just starting to tour for their new thing; moreover, I've seen them all multiple times.

Tickets go onsale on Friday morning, which makes me think that those mystery guests for 10/2 won't be announced soon enough to play a big part. But I did check and Arcade Fire is busy that day.

Thoughts, rockers?
