Gah! More postings needed! So I flew back home and back to California during the 16th-17th for an appt. Turns out since I started losing weight last summer I've lost 8 inches on my waist...which is pretty impressive.
Other fun things: today is payday! w00t! The fact that today is the first time I've seen my checking account balance consisting of 4 digits since I don't even remember when makes this is a pretty miraculous day. The only thing that sucks is next Saturday rent gets taken out. Poo. But it'll eventually get back up there. Plus the week after next week I'll be getting HOLIDAY PAY! So that means I'll be making $13.75 an hour for (presumably) 8 hours on the fourth of July.
A week from next Sunday (the 29th) it'll be a month until my birthday. I turn 23 this year. GAH! I'm old!
Final note: is it terrible of me to take extreme pleasure in the fact that someone I know, who is an absolute failure to begin with mind you, could potentially be homeless and broke by the end of the week? Personally, I don't think so, but you have to understand my situation to truly understand my sheer joy at finding out this news.
