Don't yell at me, Mother.

Dammit Hilary, give me back my mountain goats CD!

So, uneventful weekend? I think yes. Spent some quality time with Matt, Christina and Heidi last night. We pretty much did nothing...except I yelled at some kids for hiding in my driveway after TPing my neighbors house. Fo' real. If you're gonna do something stupid like that --- don't get caught. Rawr. Around 11:30, Heidi dropped us all off and I decided that staying in was probably a good idea because I had been out til 4 AM the night before. So I rushed to Hollywood Video, got there 5 minutes before they closed and rented Cruel Intentions, which I had never seen. It sounds like a lame night, but I enjoyed it.

So, today I woke up around 2:30. And I don't know what to do with myself. I'm thinking I might call Jess and see if she wants to go to a movie. But really, I don't have homework, most of my college apps are 3/4s done and I really just don't want to sit around at home and watch crappy basic cable.

Dixie dog has a black spot on her bright pink tongue. And at this very moment she has her tongue lolling out of one side of her mouth. Crazy dog. She likes to lick peoples' feet. G-ross.

Gewwww. I was the recipient of two drunk dials last night...Hunter called to say "hey, I'm really drunk, what's goin on?" and Jenny called to tell me she was in San Diego and her friend had left her comb in a parking lot somewhere. The second I picked up the phone she screamed "JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASMINNNNNE! I'M DRUNK!" as if it wouldn't be obvious...what a sweet girl. Ha. Anyhow, so that amused me.

Oh and workday was yesterday. Mariner set = the shit. I am part of Team Rake. Paddy, Sam Brooks, Stacie Shepler (who i LOVE), Mickey Brooks and myself all angled (or 'raked') 4 different platforms without anyone else's help and oh baby, we're we proud. We're making t-shirts. You wouldn't understand.

While I was there Courtney and I briefly reminisced about our FIRST actual workday in which we attempted to repair a broken table leg by using hot glue. I believe Brian Alford was helping us. The idea was to hot glue the leg in place and then screw in two metal braces on either side. The hot glue was there to simplify the process so we could screw the braces in properly. Both Daren Carter and Dominic DeRiso made fun of us for the next few Saturdays after that.

Heidi brought over Boggle last night. Is she cute or is she cute? Oh and I didn't get into EHS because of my first semester of Freshman English when I got a 77. Thanks, Ms. Redding. You rock. You have to have 85s or above for each semester. Le sigh. Maybe Ms. Spradley will reconsider if I talk to her about it. Maybe not...

Should I do NHS this year? I'm thinking I might, just to look good on my transcript and all. Oh college, why do you hate me so?

Really, I just want to get in SOMEWHERE. Preferably out of state. Mike tried to talk me out of applying to UT last time I talked with him. Har har. He doesn't want me up in Austin. It doesn't make much sense though because he is going to Austin Community College so he'd never run into me. He's such an over-achiever, don't you think?

Logically, the school I most likely going to attend is Emerson. However, Courtney is also applying there. Normally it wouldn't matter but it's a small school. I dunno how I feel about this one. I love Boston though. And being able to see Keara on a somewhat regular basis would make life just that much better. I guess it all depends on if I get into Brown or not.

I'm actually going to visit Anne in two weeks. I am missing one night of Mariner so Stacie is my understudy. Cute. But I'm really excited about visiting the campus when people are actually THERE. I saw it this summer when my dad and I went to RI and Boston but I would rather see how it goes when there are actual students around.

Halloween is coming up. I am going to be GONE. My brother and I are flying to Brazil for a quinceanera party. It's basically the equivalent of "My Super Sweet Sixteen" except its for a girl's 15th birthday and its a Hispanic tradition. Opulent to the max. I have to buy a fancy, fancy dress. The only stipulations are that it has to be floor length and cannot be pink. Deal. My brother had to wear a tux. It's gonna be cute. He is the one Simi will dance with to start the festivities off. I am starting to get incredibly excited. I love the family that we're going to visit. Their daughters were my best friends in 1st thru 3rd grade. Aren't you jealous?

OK, I need to go DO something.
Peace out, girl scout.
