I'm Back, Baby!
I have a cable modem of my own now, and the cable guy didn't even disconnect my TV in the process. Yay. I was only offline for less than a week, but man did a lot happen. Things are going great with this girl I'm seeing, but I can't seem to let my guard down yet. I dunno, when things seem so impressively good after only a few weeks and a handful of dates... I have trouble accepting it. It will be a while before I finally decide that there isn't a shoe somewhere, waiting to be dropped. Till then, I'll just try to enjoy each moment. We rented a movie this weekend, which kicked off a nearly 24 hour date. Movie, bed, couldn't sleep, a bottle of wine, then finally sleep. City Diner for breakfast, a play at SLU (All In The Timing, playing again this weekend, I recommend it), Taste of St Louis, some down time at my place, and then finally our seperate ways for dinner. Yeah, quite the weekend.
Work continues to suck. This coming weekend, I'll be going to NY for a wedding. NY with the family is alwaysa good time, without fail. I can't wait. Plus I get a couple hours off from work. And we know how much I love getting out of work. I want to write so much more, but I'm kinda tired and I've already overslept twice this week. I should get to sleep before midnight this time. Tomorrow, the woman comes over for dinner and Lost. I warned her I will not be an attentive host from 8pm-9pm, but she still wanted to come over. She and I have a lot in common. It's uncanny. It's even a little scary. One of these days I might get around to saying a lot more about her. Till then...
