Cut your losses
Well, something like that. I got my raise today, as expected. I got mildly screwed, as expected. My raise last year was about 3%, which meant over $875 a year. My raise this year was a little over 2.5%, which comes out to about $750. With everything else going on, I just got fed up. He saw my face and said sorry he couldn't do better, which I think is BS. I told him I'd be leaving the company shortly. I didn't give my two weeks on the spot as I'd like, but since two of my three leads right now are transfers within the university, it'd really be a shame to quit. I have a sick day left (our fiscal year ends this weekend), I think I feel a cold coming on on Friday. cough cough.
