Has it been that long?
Wow, my last entry was almost a month ago. What's gone down since I fell off the radar. Well, the reason I went off (at least, the past week or so), is that my computer was getting a bit too flaky for my tastes. I'd been talking smack for a while and one night, I finally (without being real cautious about backing up data or anything) wiped it clean and moved to Linux. Needless to say, I've had a few headaches since then. So just about every moment I've been on my computer since I sobered up the next morning has been spent trying to make sense of it and get things working the way I'd like and get al my data imported into the equivalent linux programs. Like I said, headaches.
We went over my stories in class and they were generally well received. It cracked my shit up that people thought that the main character in the one with the belly dancer was on Meth. Considering that was a true story and that I was the main character, I found this amusing and disturbing and shocking. And no, I've never been on meth.
I still have the job I hate, I finally met a handful of LJers again, nearly a year after the last time, I'm still single, and my kitchen is STILL being renovated. I've recently discovered pandoraFM, a neat mashup of Pandora's music suggesting and Last.fm's music... tracking? And this ninja thing is the funniest thing I've seen in at least 72 hours. I actually cried. Your turn, entropydevice. Oh, and I've been promoted to moderate an lj community, again. I now "moderate" (I use the term loosely) climb_high and stlouis. Maybe I'll actually get around to doing something useful with my new-found powers!
