Not again

I don't know what's wrong with me.

I'm getting sick again. Bad sore throat and an achey back. My greatest fear is that this is a recurrence of mono. It's probably just a cold, but my back is really achey. And an achey back was one of the first few signs of mono I got before.

I have 6 presentations, three papers, two projects, one quiz, one final,

Gah, my Nov/Dec schedule is as busy as yours :s And I hate presentations the most so I don't envy you at all!

Interesting anecdote: one of my classmates had mono when he was just finishing up in undergrad, and it was the worst case of mono that has ever been documented in his state - Rhode Island! He said that all the doctors came into his room and were checking out his throat, and they took pictures of it for the textbooks. He also had the weird mono antigen running in his blood at the time, so they took a whole bunch of samples of his blood to use for students' microscope slides so they could see the antigen.

I hope you don't have mono!!

Wow! Worst documented case? I can't imagine how horrible that was!!! I didn't have THAT bad of a case last year, but it was bad enough that I was reallllly praying it wasn't mono again. I was threatened with hospitalization if I didn't stay home in bed to allow my liver and spleen to calm down. Sorry!! I CAN'T REST I AM A GRADUATE STUDENT! THERE IS NO SUCH THING!!! AHHH!

Thankfully it's just strep throat, haha. This I can cure with antibiotics and it won't last months, so I'm happy! Well, as happy as I can possibly be in this moment, haha.
