fishing around for comments on a saturday afternoon...

I gain a lot of amusement and fodder from reading livejournals and blogs and such. I'd say that's a good amount of the time I spend online--besides searching for music/watching movie trailers. I always analyze most of the entries I read, sometimes intentionally, sometimes not. I like to be the outside observer, always have. When I was a kid/ ( Read more... )

-I've eaten 2 bagels my entire life. Not plain ones though. The cinnamon
ones and I put peanut butter on it.
-We have the same car, year and everything, only mine's blueish grayish... I don't know the real color.
-Growing up I was little Ms. Social... I'm not sure when that changed, but it did.
-My mom lost a baby when I was 2 and my brother was 4. Sometimes I imagine our life if she hadn't... and I wish she hadn't.
-I could play old school nintendo for hours.
-I have this theory that aside from the sarcasticness, Adam Brody is nothing like Seth Cohen. And that's hot.
-I'd rather read and listen to music than anything else.
-I can totally get down with books geared to young readers, but I really love chick lit. Jane Green, Erin McCarthy, Carly Phillips, etc. You should try "Sloppy Firsts" and "Second Helpings" by Megan McCafferty. Awesome.
-Sometimes... I quesion why I'm friends with my friends.
-People that go to concerts and stand and scream things like "oh my God! I love you! I wannnnnaaaaa have your babbbbbbiieeess!" "You're so hot!" "Oh my God! Oh my God! You're so hot!" make me want to throw up. And hit them in the face. Don't taint the music man.
-I could totally get on board with being a groupie.
-I want 5 children.
-No, I'm not insane.
-I'd rather have a shaved ice over chocolate any day.
-Adam Brody? I'd tap that. No one else makes the cut right now.

YAY for Honda Accord drivers! Don't you hate how there's no temperature gauge in the car? Because I really do.

I find that I can be social if I want...the trouble is I just don't want most of the time. If you put me in a group, I will talk to anyone, about anything--but if it's on my own volition, I won't bother.

You're right, in a lot of ways he isn't like Seth Cohen, but I'm sure there are parallels, too.

Jane Green rocks, and I love Sophie Kinsella (Shopaholic series)--you're the second person who has recommended Ms. McCafferty's books in this thread--I will have to check it out.

I make fun of my high school friends all the time when talking about them to my college friends. I think my college friends think they're real idiots.

See, I love doing that at teeny bopper concerts--like at Simple Plan, I wrote a sign that said, "Je Vondre Ton Bebe" or something, and most of the guys acknowledged me at least once from stage. I thik it's funny. I did something similar at Rooney because all these girls were screaming out their names, so I decided, since I was the only one there that was probably legal, I'd make fun of them a little. It's fun.

There's like no happy medium in the car. temperature wise, that is. heated seats are a big plus though. big cheers for that.
I read one of the Shopaholic books, can't remember the title, but it was the one where they get engaged. Is the couple named Becky and Luke or did I pull that out my butt?
Maybe the problem with my friends is that they're the same friends from high school, aside from a few new ones. *sigh* I need to branch out.
It is funny when you're not taking yourself seriously or when you're getting a kick out of it. I just can't get on board with people seriously being like that. I don't know.
I just connected that you're the rockintheoc from ff.net. And I just went and read "Still Fighting It"... great story. Loved it.

Have a good week.

Yep, it's Becky and Luke.

Since I was one of the only people from my school to not go to a UC school, I didn't know anyone here--thus, I had to start over. Sometimes branching out is good, but I wished I had some of my friends around sometimes for comfort.

You have a good week, too.

when i was a freshman in college (i say this as if it was years ago, it was thanksgiving 2003) I went to a john mayer concert and this cheerleader bitch next to me was like 15 and SO annoying. i have nothing against cheerleaders, but she was like "OMG OMG OMG! JOHN!!! PLAY COMFORTABLLLLLLLLE!!!" and i was like umm dude, do you even know who miles and coltrane are? and she literally responded with "no but i hope they're as hot as johnny!!!" she also got her arm in ALL of my pictures and i wanted to kill her. just thought i'd share.
