I wanted to update before I go home for Spring Break. California here I come, indeed.
So what's Shannon Lucio up to now that Lindsay's gone and moved to Chicago? She's going to be in a movie called, "Spring Break Shark Attack." I couldn't even make up something that good. It co-stars Riley Smith and you can get the basic gist of the story from the title. This made for TV movie airs on CBS on March 20th (my mom's bday!).
Here's a large picture update of the OC cast making the rounds at various Oscar parties, Rachel on TRL, Tate at the premiere of the Pacifier (which he has a small part in).

The OC's music director, Alexandra Patsavas always writes these little columns on the musicfromtheoc.com website, here's the latest one.
I am really looking forward to the release of Music From The O.C. Mix 4 - coming soon on April 5. As usual, it was so difficult for Josh and I to narrow down the song selects to the final track listing- we found ourselves with about 20 “have to have” tracks for the CD and 12 spots to fill. A number of the soundtrack songs have already aired this season. A.C. Newman’s “On The Table” played while Seth and Ryan discuss Caleb’s arrest, “Fortress” by Pinback can be heard in The New Era while Seth and Ryan are hanging out in the Harbor Quad and Imogen Heap’s “Goodnight and Go” was used thematically in The Sno C. Modest Mouse’s performance of “The View” live at the Bait Shop is also included on the mix. Look out for matt pond PA’s version of “Champagne Supernova” in The Rainy Day Woman. Josh Schwartz decided on the Oasis track for this particular moment in the show early last winter and we were thrilled when Matt was able to go into the studio and record the seven minute cover (with and without rain) in the beginning of January. If you haven’t had a chance to check the Wintersongs EP, run don’t walk to get it… Also featured in upcoming episodes are “Decent Days and Nights” by the Futureheads and “Scarecrow”, a track off the upcoming Beck release Guero.
On The Stereo: Spoon, LCD Soundsystem, Caesars, Daft Punk, Damien Jurado, The Kingdom Flying Club and Queens of The Stone Age.

More music news, Beck is going to have 5 songs premiered on next week's episode. The songs are from his new album Guero which comes out March 29 (if you haven't already gotten his album off the net that is). But Beck isn't the only thing that's being premiered, the Mallpisode will also have the exclusive trailer to the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith with two new never before seen minutes of footage.
And for very big music news for the show, which hasn't yet been confirmed, a certain Seth Cohen favorite which has been mentioned/played in the show several times may be coming to the Bait Shop soon. Here are two clue: it is one of the bands in the Seth Cohen Starter Pack, and I have recently (in the last 4 months) met them.

You know who I love? The Goots. Steve Guttenberg rocks. I just finished watching Three Men and a Little Lady on HBO. Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, Steve Guttenberg, Nancy Travis, and Boy Meets Girl's 'Waiting for a star to fall.' Thumbs up. Way up. They don't make movies like that anymore.
Next week: From The OC Central
"Lindsay's actions have left Ryan and Caleb confused. Marissa is trying hard to make her new living situation work, but she needs a break and agrees to join Summer, Seth and Ryan at the mall. Julie and Kirsten await the arrival of Carter, the new editor of Newport Living, but Julie is distracted when she's visited by Lance, an opportunistic man from her past. Meanwhile, Sandy and Caleb finally bond over all of their recent experiences on "The Mallpisode."
