I just spent a long time reading through my old journal entries. Like, from my actual hand-written, personal journals. It's crazy how much I've changed since I first started writing in them when I was 8 years old, but yet how much I'm fundamentally the same person.
I'm really glad my mom handed me that journal 14 years ago and told me to just write.
