They’ve been doing this thing since January, right after they got back from Christmas break. He’d volunteered to pick her up from the airport since Rachel couldn’t because her own flight back from Ohio had been held up for two days and Puck was somewhere doing a mini tour with his band. She was flying in from a holiday trip to London with her parent’s and little sister and though she enjoyed it she was so fucking ready to be back in DC.

He scooped her in his pick up from Reagan, hopped out and took her bags into his arms with ease. She kind of thought it was sexy because she had seriously struggled her way out of baggage claim. He smiled that smile of his, which she’d always found adorable and funny at the same time because it always made him look a little confused, and opened her door for her.

She always wondered why he was so fucking sweet. She didn’t do sweet. That shit was for chicks who wore colored tights and neoprene skirts. She preferred fishnets and body-cons. But she appreciated it nonetheless.

They made small talk on their way back to Georgetown, where she was majoring in Women’s Studies and he was studying English. Who knew that the kid who tripped over his feet had a way with words? Puck was just kind of in DC playing music and Rachel was over at George Washington kicking ass in theatre.

She was hoping to attend Howard Law because she actually fucking loved DC. There was always some shit to do, good food to eat and tons of happy hours. The weather could be fucking crazy but the city made up for it in charm. They talked about that on the way home and he mentioned something about doing Teach For America, which was, again, sweet. She knew he could easily get a better paying teaching job in a good district but he said he wanted to help in underserved neighborhoods.

Maybe sweet wasn’t so bad.

She didn’t live on campus anymore. She shared a ridiculously expensive apartment a few blocks away from campus with a spoiled chick who was the daughter of one of her dad’s business partners. They didn’t run in the same circles or bother each other because really? She kind of hated her. More so they couldn’t stand each other, but they made it work because their daddies were paying a lot of money to keep them off campus.

She was just glad she wasn’t home when she pushed open the door, Finn behind her carrying her luggage. He set them down and asked if she wanted them in her room and she just shrugged and told him to take a seat while she walked off to the kitchen to grab some beers.

She came back to find him sitting straight up, hands on his knees.

“You can relax, Hudson,” Santana said handing him a Corona, “I don’t bite. Well, I do, but I’m not going to bite you.”

He just chuckled nervously and eased into the couch a bit while she grabbed the remote and stopped on an episode of Criminal Minds. She fucking loved the show but it sort of scared her and odd people in public made her immediately think: “Serial killer!”

“The show is crazy,” he said sipping his beer. She’d taken off her coat and was dressed in a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a Howard Law sweatshirt her mom had given her. It was red and warn out but she loved it anyway, because it was part of the family.

“Yeah, it is,” she said her eyes widening as the lunatic pig farmer pulled out a saw. “Thanks for picking me up,” she said seriously, “You didn’t have to. I appreciate it.”

“S’nothing Santana, we’re friends right?”

“Yeah, of course,” which was the truth. He’d driven her fucking crazy in high school but she kind of adored him a little now. They didn’t hang out too often but he was always there when she needed him and her, Rachel, Puck and him always had a good time together.

An hour later they’d watched an episode and a half of Criminal Minds and she was a little freaked out because seriously, there were fucking crazy people out there. She turned the channel to a Real Housewives of Somedamnwhere re-run and went to the kitchen to fetch them another round of beers. They’d both already tackled the first six-pack. When she walked back into the room he was standing over by her fireplace with a frame in his hand. She rolled her eyes.

“Don’t ogle my kid pics,” she said putting the beers on the coffee table and walking over. Her mom had insisted on her putting the photo up. It was her, her mom and her dad when she was around seven, long before her little sister had been born. Her hair was half-up and half down, a cascade of chocolate curls framing her shoulders and back and a bright pink bow on the ponytail at the top. She was missing one of her front teeth and smiling wide. It was an adorable picture and she hated how he was looking at it with such a derpy face.

“You were fucking adorable,” he said, “In the picture at least, because you were a demon at school,” he added. She punched him in the shoulder because it was true. She’d sort of always been mean as hell.

“I still had a crush on you though,” he admitted putting the frame back on the ledge. She rolled her eyes.

“Did you now?”

“Yeah,” he said with that smile. She just smirked and turned to walk back to the couch but she was halted by a strong hand on her waist. “You’re really hot, you know?”

“C’mon, Finn,” she said side eying him. Of course, she knew that shit, but she really couldn’t deal with his hand being so large and there and possessive and the way his voice cracked a little when he said it. It sort of turned her on and she did not want to be turned on by Finn Hudson. “I’ve already ridden this ride, remember?” She said. She hoped it would make him let up because she wasn’t exactly sure she had to will to turn him down. She kind of found him a little sexy and she was horny and overdue for an orgasm after spending two weeks overseas.

“It’s new and improved though,” he said dorkily. I do not need to be sleeping with fucking Finn Hudson, she thought but twenty minutes later she was naked on her bed with his head between her legs. His arms were wrapped over her thighs pulling her closer as she squirmed.

“God, Finn,” she moaned. She hadn’t expected him to be this good at anything, let alone head. She’d already come twice and she was well on her way to a third. When it hit her, harder the two before, she had to literally push his head away. She snapped her legs shut and sighed as her chest rose and fell in rapid waves. He just sat up on his knees smirking before crawling up the bed to kiss her. She moaned at the taste of herself on his lips and twitched when his hand touched her thigh. “I need a minute, okay?”

He just laughed. He had been pressed to prove to her that this wasn’t the Finn Hudson she’d fucked in high school -- though he had wanted to since. She wasn’t one to be outdone and she really wasn’t about to let Finn Hudson get the best of her so when she felt like her legs wouldn’t give out on her she reached across the bed into her dresser and pulled out a condom, rolled it down his shaft and straddled him. The rest was pretty much history. They hooked up as often as their schedules could allow. She had always been amazing in bed and Finn was now, so it just kind of worked but it was only supposed to be friends trading orgasms.

And it had been until he’d started asking to take her on dates. And sure it was pretty fucking obvious that he was catching feelings, but she’d made it clear she wasn’t up for that. She just really enjoyed fucking him, often. So when he came over with a bottle of wine and cheesecake she cringed but humored him, anyway.

This wasn’t going to work. She figured that since this was the last time he was going to be inside her, she would make it worth his while. So she let herself get drunk off the wine plus the few shots of tequila she convinced him to take with her and then went down on him while he sat at her kitchen table. She stopped when he told her he was about to come and he ripped off her dress and hammered her right on her kitchen counter. She came so hard she almost wanted to say fuck it and keep the speech she had about them having to end shit to herself because really? He has yet to cease to amaze her in the sex department. But she just can’t do the relationship thing and it’s clear that he wants to.

An hour later his hands are slowly massaging her thighs and they’re wrapped in her covers after him giving her that I-can’t-take-anymore head and taking her from the back with her hair balled in his fist like she likes it. And she’s really reconsidering what she has to say because she was supposed to the one rocking worlds tonight, but she’s pretty sure she won’t be able to walk normal tomorrow and she kind of digs that.

But then he opens his big mouth against her neck and mutters something about really liking her and some shit about a date and her eyes roll because maybe she’d actually like dating Finn. Instead, she opens her mouth and says, “Our whole hookup was just a seasonal thing. It was cold; I needed a warm body to lay under. It’s summer now so fuck off.”

But he just bites down on her right where her neck and shoulder meet which is the spot he discovered made her literally shiver in pleasure and presses a kiss to her cheek.

“I’ll let you think on it,” he adds before moving his arm up to her abdomen and pulling her closer to his body. She doesn’t even protest, just makes herself comfortable and drifts to sleep because maybe dating Finn won’t be that bad.
