Dear Parents of Robyn * :
Robyn is invited to travel and study in England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, German and Switzerland. In 2005, Robyn can join other outstanding high school students from the Orlands area who are ligible for People to People, an educational exploration program founded by President Dwight D. Eishenhower. Robyn has been recommended for the honor by a teacher, former Student Ambassador or national academic listing.
Robyn can experience 20 days of rewarding activities and meet the people of England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, German and Switzerland all while earning high school or university credit. Your local delegation will represent the United States overseas, experience new cultures, and make lifelong friends. Robyn will participate in these and many other exciting activities:
* Explore the Tower of London, meet a member of Parliament, attend a hit show in the famous West End theater district, and ride the giant London Eye.
* Witness the strength of the human spirit as you go back in time to World War 2 Amsterdam at Anne Frank's hiding place.
* Enjoy the warmth of European home life during a stay with a selected host family.
* Experience magnificent Paris - the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, and the bohemian Montmartre district.
Join other interested students and their parents at a local information meeting in late September to learn more about the Student Ambassador Program.
