I haven't posted in an insanely long time, so I thought maybe I should get on that. I've been home from France for about a month now, but it still seems kind of weird to be back here. We sort of "lived" in France and England for two months and I got really used to it. We got to see some amazing beautiful things and I felt really lucky to be ( Read more... )

Paul was the professor that taught Shakespeare on May Option. So, we had Paul for England and Jim for France. Def. a good time. :D

We saw midsummer at the rsc in stratford, the tempest at the globe, and that was it for shakespeare, but we also saw hecuba in london, stomp (very much not shakespeare or really even theatre for that matter), and the phantom of the opera. we of course did the lets see all the shakespeare stuff in stratford. what classes did you take when you were over there?

the only other shows we saw were we will rock you and stones in his pockets - both in london, and they were both terrible... we just picked bad shows i guess... but the next year while in angers, i took a weekend trip to london myself, and i saw joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat, and i saw the new revamp of fame - both great shows...

as for classes at harlaxton, i took british lit with salisbury - good class, and i took shakespearew with gregory - HORRIBLE class. he didnt like ben and i, so he gave us both c's. although we know we didnt deserve it - the two of us, plus two of our friends all had a copy of the test before we took it, and the other two got a's in the class, and ben and i got c's - when corey mentioned something to him about it - he was all like "well, they'd understand if they saw their tests..." which we KNOW we aced!!! and we even sat on different sides of the room during the test... oh, how i hate that man!!!

but overall, i had a great time ;)

i wanted to see Woman in White, I think it's called, the new Andrew Lloyd Webber show, which Paul saw and said it was fabulous. We were also going to take a weekend trip to London while in Angers, but the bombings happened and we decided it was probably better to stay in France for the time being.

You took the same classes I did, but I had English Lit with Dr. Huneycutt and Shakespeare with Paul. Huneycutt gave us too many little field trip assignments when we were places which was dumb, since it was just an extra class that Annie and I took even though we didn't need it.
