The break Zacharias sometimes managed to get during certain points in the year had come and gone. His shooting schedule was starting to get ridiculous, on both the wizarding and Muggle fronts, and he was driving himself insane with casting calls. Why he thought that might be a good idea was still beyond him. He'd yet to hear back from anything, but

And frankly, as she tugged at the hem of her dress, a wide smile spreading across her face as she shielded her eyes from the sun, she wasn't far off.
He was even tossing the suit jacket and everything.
She pressed her lips together, trying incredibly hard not to giggle.
How he had convinced her to come out here, she had no idea but it was a hell of a time as she tried to stay out of everyone's way.
Still, as she caught his eyes, watching as he tried to look as sexy as possible (it was working), she made a slightly mimicked pouty face, eyeing him playfully.

He felt himself almost mimicking the reaction, the way he normally would with her, when the photographer called out for a position change. Rolling his eyes between one pose and the next, Zacharias made it a conscious effort to point directly at her. It worked for the shoot, which was convenient.

It was a talent, that was for sure.
Still, as he pointed at her, she stifled another laugh, the whole thing too ridiculous to ignore.
But Merlin, he was cute.
She winked at him playfully.

"Can we go for brooding, Riah?" The photographer was starting to sound vaguely annoyed.
Zacharias managed, for all of thirty seconds, a couple quick shots, to hold the blank expression before the edges of his eyes crinkled when he heard Marlow again.
Stop it, he mouthed toward her.

But because she was her, after all, it was rather difficult to look anything other than amused.
She pressed her lips together, eyes widening as she tried not to giggle.
Oh the endless amount of teasing that was going to come of this.

Then he cracked. It was the wide eyed look she was giving him and the way he could tell her lips were pressing tighter and tighter together, losing the battle against giggles.
He snorts, smirked, then lost it and laughed.
"I hate you. You're terrible!" He accused with no heat, all seriousness lost in laughter.
"Riah!"
"Sorry! Her fault!" Normally, he might not throw her under the Knight Bus like that, but he couldn't help it.
The photographer turned to look at Marlow, very unimpressed. "Miss? Do I need to close my set?"

"Hm?" she managed, finally, after maintaining her laughter. "Oh- Merlin- no- of course not-"
She stood up straighter.
"I'm terribly sorry-"
She wasn't.

Zacharias stuck his tongue out at Marlow, completely unrepentant and more than a little amused.
"Take a break. I want to look over what we have. You're due for a wardrobe change anyway, if you please."
"Absolutely," he nodded, already moving from his spot to faux-glare at Marlow. "You're going to get me fired. I hope you're happy with yourself."

It was innocent and excited and entirely too ridiculous given her little chastising she just suffered from the photographer. But she didn't care. It was amazing to see him in his element. She didn't think she'd ever really get over it.
"I am absolutely smitten with myself," she told him, putting her hands on her hips.
"You don't think they'll kick me out, do you?" she asked him, then, tilting her head.

"Well, I mean you did piss off the photographer..." He looked at her with a mixture of apology and regret for a few seconds before snorting. "No. If he tries, I'll have a meltdown. Works everytime."
Not that he knew that from experience or anything. "Is it bad that I'm completely okay with acting like a stereotype to get what I want?"
Reply
"You kidding?" she said, tiling her head. "I bat my eyelashes whenever I want a free drink-"
She licked at her lips with as innocent a shrug as she could muster, even if she was dying to laugh again. Still, the photographer was eyeing them from where he was changing the film.
"Don't suppose that would work with that one, do you?" she asked him, then, her hand reaching for his with a smile.

Then there was the subtle sound of a camera. Zacharias almost missed it. He was so used to hearing a variety of camera types that he almost missed it.
"And now there's apparently proof that you've involved in a photoshoot," he teased.
Reply
"What just happened?" she asked, tilting her head, an amused quirk edging at her lips.
"Did he just- no- right?"

Then the sound clicked again. Zacharias laughed, head falling back a little.
"Yeah. He did. You want to be a star, Linney?" His hands slipped down to hers and he took a couple steps back, pulling her with him and more into the open while he threw a questioning look over to the photographer.

"What-" she said, shaking her head. "Oh- no-" she told him. "I am not modeling-"

Zacharias laughed and tugged Marlow around until she was mostly facing the camera. "But you can always pretend you're just hanging out with me with really annoying but skilled paparazzi following us around."
