It was a ritual they had started a long time ago. Zacharias wasn't even entirely sure when it had started or how, not that it mattered. But it was a secret. He didn't tell Natalie, Kevin, and especially not Allie. Zacharias had a specific and valid reason for each, but those didn't matter either

There was a confession from some girl about getting stuck in a garage door while trying to sneak a peak at the car she was convinced her boyfriend had bought her as a present. She'd had her ass in the air, skirt hiked up, until the guy stopped laughing and called for help. It was his favorite of the female confessions page. He was just about to point it out to her when she rounded on him.
Zacharias let out a loud laugh and shook his head. "Not if I don't over do it. If it's light enough, they stand out." Pausing, he nearly choked and shook his head, leaning a bit toward her. Yeah, he shouldn't know so much about that...but, apparently, it was the new rising fad...guyliner. "I'd never do it though. Not in a million years. It'd be worse than getting outed for reading this religiously."
ooc: Random thought of the night - Man I wish you used Zoe Saldana as Angie so I could have Riah/Angie icons lol

"You've tried haven't you?!" Her eyes were bright with intrigue. "You have so tried and you're thinking of doing it again." Turning back to the magazine she felt like she was 16 again as she flipped back to the advice.
"Okay - listen to this: 'My boyfriend asked me to try this new type of underwear that he bought from some cheap lingerie store. I don't like it, it's uncomfortable, itchy and looks terrible on me. yet he insists! How do I get him to understand I don't like it - looks terrible. I mean really, really terrible - and that I'm uncomfortable with him staring at me with it on?' " the Question was read aloud but quietly enough for just the two to hear.
"What would you tell miss S.L. from London?" It was her favourite game. Compare advice, read on the miseries and troubles of others and see who knows best. In the end she knew the advice would be the same as always 'dump the guy' 'tell him whats what' 'just accept it and be there for him' a strange jump from extreme feminism to extreme submission. All depending on the writer that week.

This was a typical game for them and Zacharias had specifically skipped the advice pages for that purpose. He liked to think on the spot. For a few seconds, he bit his lip and honestly thought about it before shrugging and sending her a smirk.
"Stop wearing underwear all together. Tell him she's over the whole institution. It's sexier that way and he gets to think he's not a complete tool. A little manipulation never hurt anyone." That was usual his answer, some backhanded way to get what the chick wanted without the guy being any wiser to the real situation. That probably said a lot about his views on women.

"Are there any pictures?" She finally said after a moment, more than excited to shoot him a playful and terribly saucy smirk.
But they were quickly back to business as she then put on her 'serious' thinking face; biting her lip now with a soft frown.
"You see that would work assuming she could pull it off. You have to have the confident personality to do it but by the sounds of it - letting him chooser her sexy underwear - First mistake I might add - she probably can't pull off the confident 'against the grain' sort of manipulation that you're oh so fond of." A quick but cute jab at her friend before stealthily moving on in the conversation to voice her own opinion.
"I say she should buy her own, sexier ones that are more comfortable and do a mini fashion show. Let him see his choice - by the sounds of it horrid, against her own sultry one. And, to be covertly manipulative she should give him a little show while in her own choice to help persuade him along."

Zacharias nodded along to what she was saying. Well, it was a damn fine point. He was just used to confident women, they were all he ever paid attention to. Be leaned over enough to bump their shoulders when she called him out of his manipulation theory.
"You make good points," he acknowledged, but shook his head. "But she's probably pretty vanilla. These things she thinks are horrible might be sexy and she only likes the basics. Maybe she thinks pink lace is sexy, which it is but there are better things. She's probably a step away from a prude. I'm think she needs to tell him that she doesn't feel comfortable in them."
He paused for a moment then shrugged. "But I don't get why it matters. I'm sure she only has to wear them for about twenty seconds."

But she couldn't ignore that Zacharias had a point.
"I can't believe you just called her Vanilla." Angie shook her head in disapproval while her lips were pursed trying to contain her laugh and smirk.
"And you never know. They might be bad. I've seen some bad ones." Angelina Johnson tried not to think about hot uncomfortable the bad ones were.
"See you guys always forget the details. For a girl to be wearing the sexy underwear when she takes off her pants they have to be on BEFORE she takes off her pants!" Angie was trying to keep quiet but her voice raised a little near the end.
Checking herself she leaned into Riah a little more.
"We wear them for hours before you see them. We don't just run off to the bathroom to change before our pants get ripped off." Shaking her head again Angie sighed dramatically. "I mean we don't always do that."

He clapped a hand over his mouth to keep from laughing too hard. Still, it didn't help much and he kind of gasped before he could speak again. "Maybe you should. I personally wouldn't mind. I don't care what you girls before or after I see the sexy just when I see it. So there. Though I'll give you that maybe she isn't vanilla, but come one. That doesn't sound plain as all hell to you?"
Maybe he was a tad kinky sometimes....it couldn't be helped. He had varied interests.

Laughing a bit to herself she shook her head once again in disappointment. Riah was skilled at pulling the shakes from her as he talked on and on about what could some of the most sexist but hilarious shit.
"Well despite what you care about knowing, those things can be uncomfortable all freaking day long so show a little sensitivity there." She poked him playfully before flipping to the confessions page then to the fall fashions.
"Orange? For winter?" Holding up the page there was a runway photo of an orange and white get up that was mimicked with everyday wear from regular retailers. "A little bright for me this time of year."
Reply
"I still vote no underwear at all. It's unnecessary anyway," he shrugged but that was mostly just so he could get one last jab in.
Zacharias leaned closer to her to look at the page. "People really wear that? That's...kind of...it glows." He flipped around in his own magazine and pointed to a different page of fashions. Everything was in bright colors still but of an emerald green with strange little orange accents. "This isn't too bad. I can see people in that." Yeah, he had opinions on women's fashions. "The men's shite in here is just that this time, by the way. I don't care how much someone's paying me, I refuse to wear this."
He flipped and flipped until he hit the "For Your Guy" sections. Pointing, he revealed button-downs and jackets in pastels that generally accented the bright colors of the women's section. "No one's getting me in that kind of pink. Sorry."
Reply
"Because I mean really... pink?" Even on girls Angie wasn't much of a fan but the shade he pointed out in his own copy was a particular shade of horrid. "it's like someone at a sappy little girls youth with tutu's and unicorns and then puked it all up."
She made a disgusted face and shook her head. "Some things should just never be worn Or seen. That I would say is one of them." Next to the pink was an awful yellow like weak old mustard stain.
"I think the new trend is not so nice." But as she flipped to a random add in hers Angelina set her eyes on the most beautiful coat she'd ever seen. Plaid, dark red and black in a pea-coat fashion with a popper collar.
"Now that I'd wear."

Choking a bit on his own laughter, Zacharias covered his eyes for a second. Pulling his hand away, he read the caption to find out what some self-important drone was calling this color right now. "Ang. It's salmon. It's chic," he deadpanned. For anyone else, they may have thought he was serious.
"Agreed. I think I'm wearing last year's clothes. Will people shun me if I do that?" Honestly, he was only about a quarter serious, a third at the most. Leaning over, he took in the add she was pointing to. "It's nice." Eyes moving quickly from the page to her and back, he thought. "Yeah, it's nice. You need it. I don't like the coat you have now." Actually, he had no opinion on her coat but that wasn't much fun and Zacharias thrived on poking at Angelina.

"Salmon is not chic." Correcting Zacharias was always a fun activity. "Just like calling Mustard Grey Poupon doesn't make it classy."
But she had to think about his next question. Riah was stylish. People knew this. They might notice a recurrance in style but only if they stalked him.
"Your adoring and rather creepier of followers might notice the repeats but I think you'll be fine. No one will shun you." She pat his shoulder sympathetically. "Except for me. Appalling if you wear the same crap." Concluded the girl who wore a shirt she'd had since 6th year at Hogwarts.
Then of course, he poked her in the worst kind of way.
"There's nothing wrong with this coat!" She said with a ghastly look on her face. "I look cute in it." There was a bit of a pout and a frown as she looked at the new coat in the mag. "But that one is nicer..."

"They say it's chic or classy! They're a magazine. It's in print! They must be right." He was biting his lip, an amazingly cute gesture, in the attempt to keep a straight face. Zacharias' blue eyes were too bright to pull it off.
He just rolled his eyes, knowing she wouldn't actually care what he wore. Allie would give him hell, Angie would probably not even notice and if she did her mocking would be all for fun.
Leaning over, he dropped his arm over her shoulders in mock sympathy. "No, I know. You're always cute." He thought for a few seconds but he didn't even need to make a decision. Besides, this would make Christmas shopping a bit easier. "You want it?"

Even when he rolled them, made Riah look younger and childish.
But he made a stealthy save in calling her cute.
"I am aren't I?" She joked, Angie biting her lip and batting her eyes like a little pageant queen. She leaned into him though and looked back over the add.
"I do like it but I don't know. It's a little expensive." Now Angelina liked fashion. She liked to look good, but the woman was not frivolous with her money. In fact the word cheap was often thrown around behind her back but dammit she liked deals. Angelina wasn't poor, in fact her family was rather wealthy but she liked to be creative and efficient with her money. Even when it came to things she knew she'd look adorable in.
"I mean really, it's a nice jacket but way too much." But her pretty brown eyes lingered on the add before turning the page to see more 'salmon'.

Riah laughed at her antics, shaking his head but not in disagreement. She was cute, hot even, but there were just some girls he didn't dare make a move on. Quidditch teammates, best friends, friends' sisters...there was a list that he'd compiled from bad experiences that taught him better.
Zacharias watched her. He listened, sure, but he watched her as well. She liked the jacket, wanted the jacket. She'd never buy it for herself or ask for it. Still, he turned back to his magazine, flipping the pages and marking the one with the advertisement as he flipped past it.
"On to the confessions!" He declared, in a stealthy whisper but bright and cheery all the same. "Men's or women's first?"

If there's an icon where you can't really make out her face we could try and use it!! I'll look and see if there's any for Gabriel Union too.
I wish I could use her... but this is Angie now. Has been forever. I don't think I could see anyone else as her. like ever.
