So. Phoenix.

Everyone in Phoenix is afflicted with the peculiarly modern dementia that causes one to believe that anything more than ten minutes away is impossible to walk to, so nobody walks but instead drives 70 miles an hour down the six-lane speedways that pass for streets in this desert claptrap city and wonders why they can't see the mountains anymore through the black clouds. But that is ok because there is nothing really worth walking to here. I haven't succeeded at finding anything in Phoenix that could not be found in Maple Grove. It seems as though, to create Phoenix, someone took Maple Grove, squashed it flat, multiplied it times a hundred, and then sprinkled some cactus.

But on the bright side, it most certainly is warmer here than most other places.
