(no subject)
I have been away, purposely avoiding livejournal and the internet for the most part.
I've decided that I'm quitting LaRosa's very soon. I know almost positively that the manager from the other LaRo didn't quit and I won't get the promotion that I need or deserve. And what else am I going to do? Get a raise? Yeah. That's funny. Besides lately the people that have been coming in has been really sucky lately. I'm getting screwed with all the terrible shifts when I serve. Yesterday, I worked at 1 and worked a "double" well was supposed to. Well, I came in and missed the rush (obviously that would happen) and only made $14 and plus someone stiffed me (and I did EVERYTHING for them and right too). Then I came home and ate and went back to work, was only at work for 15 minutes before being sent home because we were dead.
I love everyone who works with me for the most part, but it's just not there anymore. I'm making squat (probably less than squat) and when I work my job that pays more on the hour there, I'm not making much there either because my hours just suck. I work at the library during the day, but I'm only making $6 an hour, if best. It's more like $5.55, but it's still not enough. I have bills to pay and a trip to save up for, I can't just screw around anymore.
My mom thinks it's time that i start looking for another weekend job. I applied at TGI Friday's on Fields Ertel over the weekend. My friends Tiffany and Katie both work there, and they said that I should come there too. It's in an up scale part of Cincinnati and they tip mostly pretty well (20% and higher). Where as a good night at LaRo would be $55-$60 if best, a bad night at Friday's would be that. Brandy even laughed and told me to wear all the flare if I get this job. I really need this job. See, if I work during the weekends and make tons of money I can get my car paid off soon and pay off all my bills and use the check from the library to put in my savings to save up for England.

Well, I need to get out of here. I have some Spanish homework to do and study. That's what I do all day at the library play on the computer, study and do work if needed. It's great.
