I'm checking in for ya'll, even though my mom just told me to go lay down-- I wanted to give you the heads up that, yes, I made it past Sam's (and my own) doctors' appointment this morning, but I might not make it MUCH past. Been feeling... weird... today, and though I am "only" at 38 weeks, my doctor actually SAID today "Hopefully we'll see you ( Read more... )

37 weeks is considered full term so...

I didn't realize you were that far along already. Good luck. I hear it's a piece of cake after the first one. ;)

It was funny looking at how, technically, this baby and Sammy should be THREE weeks (and two years) apart, except Sam was born at 41 weeks... I kept looking at the 37 week mark early on saying "Just hold out until AFTER Sammy turns two!" Well, it did... we'll see how much longer though!

I'm glad it wasn't right on Sammy's birthday. It's nice to be able to have one's own birthday and not have to share it.

Good wishes headed your way! Have Jason call me when he's got a free moment! :) I mean, baby related. Nothing else is new. Unless he just wants to call me, that'd be ok too, but I'm sure he has other things to think about.

We were wondering, Sean and I, about Sam's room. A crib, a bed, and a toddler bed? Just curious.

Well, the big bed is J's old bed and has been there all along. The crib will be moving into what is currently the office soon, maybe Friday because my parents are coming over, maybe when I'm in the hospital and EVERYONE will be off and can go help out-- I don't know. Then the rest of the furniture might move around too. Sam's funny about the beds-- sometimes he sleeps on the toddler bed, sometimes he just uses it as a stepstool to get to the big bed. Sometimes he sleeps on the floor! But he hasn't tried to get back into the crib yet, good thing since somebody else is taking it over!

I'm at work right now, so not YET to the point when I can say I won't be back on here myself in the next few days. I'm just very likely not going to make it to 40 weeks!
