I AM *FINALLY* GOING TO EUROPE!!!
I have waited so long for this! Yesterday, two of my best friends & I found an itinerary and airfare that could not be passed up. Non-stop LAX to Paris on Air France, baby! My goal is to wear red lipstick and cute dresses, smoke cigarettes and drink coffee while chillin' in Paris for a few days. Find a downtempo lounge, drink martinis and revel in the fact that I finally made it! Of course, I'll be checkin' the museums and the Eiffel Tower and all of that hoopla. Next stop: Amsterdam. No explanations necessary. Then we'll head over to Deutschland and visit good friends and have some good times. Man, I can't wait!!! I was literally in tears of joy yesterday...this will be so much more for me than just a vacation!
School is kicking my ass already and it's only the fourth week.
Going to Disneyland to see SHAG this weekend! It's the 40th Anniversary of the Tiki Room and Shag is doing a special limited edition print for the occasion as well as special merchandising. Like one of my best friends always says, finally Disney has realized that the Tiki Room is pretty fucking cool. The Tiki Room was like, a traditional stop when my family would go to Disneyland when I was a kid. How stoked am I that my favorite artist is doing work in honour of one of my favorite attractions?!?
Anyway, wish I could afford one of the prints, but I don't have an extra $400 right now. The best part is Shag will be there in person, signing the prints and any of the Tiki Room merchandise. I can't wait to meet him!
And finally...still crackin' out on all my new music lately. Thank heavens for the delicious 80's sounds of John B!
