woah, you settle down brain.
i have a migraine. make it stop! i've never experienced one of these before. i don't even get headaches. this is just horrible. i can't make this throbbing stop... even my teeth hurt. and my eyes. and my hair just looks awful today too

my first comment on livejournal in over a year? yes. because THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS MATTER!
well, not serious, but i had some crazy migraine attacks back in september of last year. i get them every now and then, but i had a bad string of migranes back then. they're horrible in every single way.
unfortunately, there's not too much you can do besides staying away from bright light or loud noises. and even worse, most pain medicines like tylenol won't have any affect on a migraine. BUT! there are over-the-counter meds specifically for migraines...advil makes one, for sure. i know there's some others. i used the advil medicine and it seemed to help bring the pain down. but if you're cold, quiet, and dark...that's your best bet.
