Weekend at Ben's
So I had a really good weekend and I definately needed it. Thursday, I packed stuff up and put it in the car and then I eventually went to dinner with Kris and Kara at Jasmines. Joe met up with us there a little later. We then went back for a little while to Kara's suite and hung out with her and her roommates. I'm really going to miss them a lot. They are the people at Arcadia I knew for the shortest amount of time and I will miss them the most. They even made a card for me because I am leaving. I'm not going to lie, I cried. It was really sweet of them. I said goodbye to all of them and then Kris, Joe, Christian and I went back to Joe's house and I left my car there. I crashed at Kris's house and Christian crashed at Joe's. Kris and I stopped at CVS on the way back to her apartment and were goofing off there haha.
I tried to get at least some sleep but nope, it didn't happen and we were getting up at 3 AM....YES 3 AM To leave. Kris and I left at 3:15 am to meet back at Joe's house and we left at 4 am to head up to Ben's house. I played the mix that Kris made for me which FUCKING ROCKS! Thank you so much Kris! Joe and Kris rode together in Joe's car and Christian and I went up in my car. It was dark out, no snow and as we headed further and further north the snow started showing up. It was beautiful outside. We made it to Ben's house with 2 stops around 9:30ish...there is a foot and a half of snow up there! It was so good to see Ben. We were all so fucking exhausted, but extremely happy to be there. We hung out, dozed on and off all day because of the lack of sleep. We watched Weird Science which was a really funny movie and then went to sleep eventually.
Saturday, we went to this store with shiny and pretty things and looked around. We then went into the town of New Milford and went in a few more stores with really awesome stuff. We then headed back to Ben's house and had lunch. We then burned things in the fire pit...it was awesome haha. We then just hung out and later had dinner. After dinner Ben's mom, Kris and I went to the store and bought stuff to cook for Sunday night since Kris was planning to make her famous potato soup and I was planning to make my famous toll house cookie pie. Afterwards we played video games and I poned Joe's ass in Donkey Kong hahah good times. Ben's friend Mike showed up a little later and we just hung out talked, played video games. etc.
Yesterday Kris helped me make the toll house cookie crack pie haha and then went outside for a little bit and went sledding. It was fucking cold outside so being outside didn't last long at all. We went back inside and we all opened gifts. It was my first experience of Christmas haha. I had my first stocking and everything. Then Kris, Christian, Ben, Joe, and I all got to work in the kitchen and cooked for Ben's parents. We all worked really well together and it was a success.
Today I made it home and had my pre-opt surgery appointment since it is Friday. I'm nervous, but it needs to be done. Now I'm sitting in my room and there's stuff lying all over the floor because I have too much stuff and not enough places to put things....I need to re create and get rid of stuff. I got some accomplished, but I'm really tired now. Anyway...that pretty much sums up my weekend.
To Ben, Kris, Leah, Joe, Christian, Kara and all of her roommates...I miss them all so much :(
