We've already lost control...
Long weekend was good. Very tiring. Work was alright Friday night, and hockey was ok Saturday afternoon. We lost 2-1. I couldn't really remember the rules, cos its been ages since I last played, so hopefully I'll be better this weekend. Doesn't help when you can't get to training.
Ryan never came over Saturday night. He rang at 8:30pm and said his grandparents were down from Melbourne, so he couldn't come. Now, a) who wants to stay at home with their grandparents on a saturday night, and b) why did he wait till 8:30pm to ring me and tell me? He could have rung during the day, OR maybe even told me at school that he couldn't come cos his grandparents were coming down from Melbourne. You'd think he'd know they were coming! Honestly, he's just as bad as Mouldy, and I'm not gonna waste my time inviting him around again.
But the rest of us had fun. Muzza's a bit of a pool shark. We watch the Poker World Tour on TV, which was pretty funny. They go all in on nothing!
The surf at Torquay was pretty average. I surfed at a reef called Steps, and it was 1-2ft very clean offshore. About knee deep too. Got a really good barrel, and plenty of ramps to hit. Landed on my arse on the reef aswell! Tried on heaps of clothes in the shops too, and Mum bought some for my birthday, but I don't know which ones! Didn't get a wettie cos I didn't like any of them.
