Sad News
Had some disturbing news over the past weekend.
First, a dear friend of mine had a heart attack. She's in her mid-forties and this is her second one in a year. She's doing okay for now, but will be in hospital for a few weeks recovering. Her health is deteriorating quite rapidly lately. I'm worried for her.
Secondly, I found out that a guy that I know back home was murdered. My family had carried on with this fellow for over two decades. They found his body stuffed under a little footbridge along a wooded path. I'm brokenhearted that this happened to him, of all people. He was sweet, loving, kind, gentle, and oh so funny! He would have done anything or helped anyone, if they needed it. I just can't stop thinking about how scared he must have been in his final moments. The look on his face when he realized he was going to die . . . .
