(no subject)
Well, it's been snowing for days here and it's so cold that it would freeze the *___* off a *___*. haha You fill in the blanks! Your skin will freeze in two minutes, in these kinds of temperatures. It's -41 with the windchill, and has been that way for days and days now. Sooooooo cold!!!
Finished my first shift of this week. Working graveyard shift. Too funny! I mentioned to b/f's son that I was working the graveyard shift, and he actually thought I was working in a graveyard. Perhaps he thought I was digging the graves. haha Didn't sleep at all yesterday, although I tried repeatedly. My poor body is so confused. It wants to stay awake when it should sleep, and it wants to sleep when it should stay awake.
I came home and soaked in a hot tub for about an hour. Then it was out the door again to take my granddaughter to her bus, and my daughter to the train. It's just tooooo cold for them to be walking. I am sore all over. Not that I'm that surprised by that. My arms and legs are like spaghetti, but the biggest surprise is that my chest is very sore from lifting all those very large and (sometimes) very heavy boxes. Pecs - isn't that what those muscles are called? I learned that I have to save the heavy boxes for the guys or other 'healthy' people. Can't be telling too many about my arm, as it will appear like I can't hold my own. So far, so good, but we'll see how long I can take this.....or my arm, that is! Well, if nothing else, I guess I'll be in good shape after this is done and overwith.
