I believe to take dominance is a position that combats true love. Love is diffusion - an exchange like breathing - to breathe in you must breathe out. To love, you cannot only take, but must also give.
Dominance is formed out of love for the self and any acclaimed love which is fashioned from it is only a desire to extend the love of self to others - to acquire admirers, followers - orbital extensions with the desire they perish without you.
