5 episodes in, and I cannot believe what this show has done to me. It is making me write character analyses. Me. Lazyarsed, can never be bothered me. But I think I really need to do this or I will never get it off my chest. I'm going to start with Asahina Kosuke, and work my way through the rest of them.

Let's Do This~ )

I agree - Hyuga is the company. It's not just him that is being pulled in the mud, it's the company. Without Hyuga they will be like any other company - it's him who makes the difference. Who does things differently. Like when wiping the whole interface and starting entirely from scratch after Natsui's suggestions. Not even keeping a back-up of what he was deleting (you know, in case there are some useful bits in there) - which is what everyone else would do.

What annoyed me about Asahina at the end was that he was so open about it: just sitting there and grinning. I guess everyone is going to find out soon, but still... well, maybe he's relishing his power.

Question is though, why did Hgyua trust him to that degree (selling the shares???).

I also hope Hyuga is smart enough never to trust him again...

Oh yes, I agree so much, especially the interface stuff.. the (amateur) coder in me almost cried when he backspaced everything without second thought (that backspace key was hella fast btw)~

I'll be completely honest.. I wanted to stab Asahina as he gloated... even though the Accountant partner does not have as much trust in Hyuga as everyone else, at least he's not evil >.<;;

I suppose Hyuga trusts him unreservedly because of the fact that he's been with Asahina for so long, and he was the only one out of the whole board of directors who actually believed in Hyuga and came to support him and become a founding partner. Plus, Asahina, at least initially, seemed to understand Hyuga (how else would you explain the... design choices and him agreeing to move that fridge behind the sofa without much complaining. I mean I know it's easier to get your biiru if your fridge is right behind your sofa, and I love Hyuga and all, but I would ask for at least 2 people more to help out...)
