First day of a new life.
Woke up today in New Orleans after sleeping upwards of 12 hours. I feel great, however my hands are killing me today. I'm suppose to do paperwork but its hard for me to hold a pin, and a handshake is like a slow torturous feeling....so I'm waiting it out to see if the pain dulls down a little bit and then i'll head up to the Hyatt. I'm not sure I've made the right decision in moving here at this point. I wish I could have hung out at home for the summer and not worked for a while and just...enjoyed my youth, but nothing ever works the way you want it to. So yeah.
Mainly I just want my hands to not be in constant pain and I can enjoy all this city has to offer. Rode bikes with Jonathan yesterday for a couple hours, it was fun, we rode through some really bad areas and at some points I felt completely unsafe, but I'm still here, so whatever.
Today I need to :
Get my pants hemmed
Write a paper
Do paperwork for work
Avoid roommates (ha, not really, but I feel like they think I am)
