I only went into that show cause Lizzy P was there, and Lizzy P is the whole reason why my life has been this good so far. Thanks. At my other job, I am inundated with Vanessa Carlton over the muzak. I think that she sounded better at that show because it was just her and a piano. Not the useless studio musician backing band that has no soul or feeling. She's a talented musician, but she's not my thing. There's a lot worse in this world.) On the way there I helped someone on Comm. Ave change a tire, and I helped a Hare Krishna find his keys. These are my shows for the year. I may have more that I can't remember at the moment.
You may see that there are some shows that are listed the same nights as another show. That is not a misprint. Shows at Avalon and Axis generally get out at 10 or 10:30. Shows at the paradise run a bit longer. I am allowed to walk through the doors of the paradise and see a show for free. That explains the two shows in one night.
I know I talk about shows so much. It's what I do. It's where my community is. I like interacting with the people. It just means the world to me. I am going to plenty of shows this year, and I will have a blast goddammit.
