Went to work, worked, then drove home, fed the horses, and folded some laundry.
Went downstairs, put on the 1st episode of Season 2 of Buffy, and did cardio. Went easy...just walked at 3.5 mph for 45 minutes. So, I burned a measly 174 calories, but hey, it's something! It's a start. I'll give it until the weekend before getting back to running. I have Physical Therapy on Wed and Fri, so my PT will be able to tell me what I can safely do without reinjuring myself.
Tomorrow I head to the Equine Rehab center in Holyoke. It's a rehab for developmentally disabled clients. Basically, they need volunteers to lead horses around while kids ride and try to develop balance, motor skills, confidence, etc. It'll be a nice change from what I've been doing for the last couple of years. And its nice to give back to the community. At least for a while. So, it's just a 2-hour stint, but I wanted to check it out. I'll give it a few weeks, see if it's something I want to continue with.
Ok, time to get back to work. I need to clear out all the pending stuff I have to do so that I can have my morning free tomorrow.
