Day 110, Mon May 22, 2006

May 22, 2006 12:14

Not an easy day to get out of bed, but I did it. I'm still recovering from the flu. Stopped at the NSGS for my flavored Green Mtn coffee, and arrived at work at 8:30 AM. I was VERY PRODUCTIVE, solving a lot of issues.

Now that I am responsible for the United Kingdom, I have a full inbox by the time I get to work, of both new issues and fixing old ones. I have to retrain some of our customers because certain rules weren't followed, and they politely and in a round about way accused me of being difficult. When I explained the legal implications of what they were asking me to do and the reasons why I needed additional documentation, they were more amenable. But I'm sure there will be a few months of retraining. As well as fixing stuff. If you don't know what you are doing, license configuration gets screwed up, and you have to go back and fix stuff. And that's what I'm doing now, fixing stuff.

Left work early as I was still a little feverish and getting hot and cold sweats. Went to MCC and got my official transcripts, so now I can go to UMASS and drop off my UWW application before the 1 June deadline. Yay!

Came home, read a book, took a nap. S was out with eyeof_thetiger7 and blue_moon_child. He brought me dark chocolate peanut butter bars from Ben and Bill's. Yum!

Worked from 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM, and off to bed again.
