Recording!!
So, oh man, I haven't updated in FOREVER.
That is because I have been practising with my band and doing bunches of things. My band is called Cake for John, and we are so awesome that our name is a reference to John Nolan >_> Seriously, though, yeah, we're working out the knots in our performance and dynamic, and trying to find more musicians to play with us, but we're having fun doing it. We recorded the song on my living room floor with us, headphones, an acoustic guitar named Cassidy, a laptop and GarageBand. It's the first time I've ever been recorded. EVER.
In other news, oh my god, May is nearly here with all it's KILLING AWESOMENESS. I'm seeing Ten Second Epic, Brand New, and Bright Eyes, and maybe Daniel Johnston if I can swing it. I'm missing Cursive and the Faint because I have to keep up my marks in school, which is kinda pleh. But I may go swing by to tell Tim Kasher he is awesome.
