Dave Waugh interviews MICHAEL GOLDEN!

If you ever read the original Micronauts comic books, you have to read THIS:

This is a real eye-opener for any Micronauts comic fan and puts things in a very different perspective. It's ironic, but I think the New Voyages is probably a lot closer to what Michael originally signed on for, although it too in the end suffered from Marvel superhero cross-over madness. I always thought the bits with Man-Thing and Captain Universe felt comparatively contrived in the original 12 issue run. Micronauts would have been much better kept seperate from the Marvelverse, really (though I did really like the Nick Fury crossover, for what it's worth).

It's a shame that Bucky O'Hare couldn't have been a 3 3/4 inch line as originally intended (and didn't come out until later as what seemed like a TMNT clone, even though the comic well predates it). The Righteous Indignation would have been an awesome surrogate Endeavor, designed by The Man himself. :)
