The Adding Machine
Ok, so here is a test with the texture applied and the lighting closer to final.
...I dunno, this is looking pretty good, and I know if I were to spend more time on it I could get it looking alot better, but I have alot more work to do on this project still and I gotta keep moving. They say an artist never completes a piece, only abandons it. This is certainly true here. I wish I could have taken the time to texture the trees properly, but time my friends, is a harsh mistress.
Also, I hate the double shadow action but I have already rendered the animation and for some reason it never occured to me that one point light could have solved all of my problems! Damnit! I could have had a V8!
Sometimes I wish I could just render everything with global illumination. That would make life much easier.
