best day of the year!
so let's see, last night was a really good night. it's been a while since i've had just a plain fun night that i really enjoyed. the day kinda sucked, things were really slow at work in the morning. i hope they picked up after i left. came home for a while and talked with karli for a bit, which was nice, cuz even tho i live with her now, we really don't seem to talk too much anymore. so i went to see the groovie ghoulies at the caffeine den last night, and to meet this girl. both very good experiences! i forgot how much i enjoy the ghoulies! they're just always so fun. they seem to genuinely be having a good time when they play, and that goes over really well with me. ack, so they're getting ready to play "A Message to Pretty", and Kepi starts to say how sad he was this Chrismess cuz he didn't get his card from the Sandwich Mafia this year. awww, me and my camera up in the front row felt so bad! but luckily he and Roach said they're still accepting late cards, so i'm gonna need to get to work on that right away. but yea, so i met this girl there, and, after the initial nervousness wore off, it went really well. like, REALLY well. it just seemed to kind of flow along naturally. we talked a while out front while the first two bands played. she came up in the front and was enjoying the ghoulies with me. we went for a couple of walk n' talks while her friend got some alone time in the car with her b/f, heh. but yea, it went really well, and i just felt so... comfortable. which for me is really odd with someone i've just met. i don't really tend to be a people person most of the time. so anyways, now i suppose i should finish getting ready for work. gotta leave a little early so i can get my pictures from last night developed, woo hah.
