I'm in Miami

Yeah, I made a wrong turn somewhere and ended up in Miami. *lol* The one in Oklahoma, that is. I drove another 370 some-odd miles and I'm almost in Missouri.

Today wasn't too bad, but I started off a little pissed. I left the RV park and stopped at a gas station before getting back on the highway. When I pulled around to the pumps in the back, I found out they were diesel gas. So I tried to back up to go around to the other pumps, but I didn't quite have enough room. Then I figured out that I could just pull around the building the other way. I had to wait because there were other cars at the pump. As I'm sitting there, this woman comes out of the building and tells me that I should wait where I was and that she was going to get one of the men to come out and help me. She also said I should wait for the other car to finish before I tried to pull in. My response was "I was planning on waiting. I haven't hit anything yet have I???", to which she responded "Not yet." Now I realize when I was backing up that I got close to other cars. I was moving *very* slowly and carefully and was well aware of how close I was to other things around me. Just because I have a pair of tits on my chest, I must need a big strong man to help me navigate.

This guy comes out and starts looking at my rig. I had told the bitch I needed regular gas. He's looking, and I'm like "I have pumped my own gas once or twice, and I'm positive it takes unleaded gas." He said he was surprised because rigs my size are usually diesel. I felt like telling him to go fuck himself. I know how to drive my rig. Granted I had to take out the manual to read about the automatic transmission, but since I've driven this fucker over a thousand miles just on this trip, I'm certain about where the damn tank is, and what kind of gas to put in it. I realize it's not pretty when I try to back up, but I have to mirrors *and* a camera. I can see things just fine... /rant.

Do you know they feel the need to put signs saying "Do not drive through smoke" on the side of the highway?? It's amazing...

Oh, does anyone watch "Saving Grace"? It's based in Oklahoma, and the main character's last name is Anadarko. I drove past a sign for a town named Anadarko today on the 44. Just thought it was interesting.

I stopped for lunch today and there was a Sonic there. I got one of those Creamslushie things. It was pretty good, but I was pissed cuz they didn't have the cheesecake bites anymore. It took a little longer to get my food because 3 buses full of people had come in and ordered like 120 burgers. I don't know about you all, but when my school did field trips they called the place ahead of time and warned them we were coming. No such luck with this group. *sigh*

I remembered my dead sexy granny socks today, so the legs aren't hurting. This is a good thing. The park I'm at tonight is bare bones again, and the shower wasn't exactly nice. I kept my shoes on. *l*

Wednesday I plan on hanging out near Columbus for a while. My cousin Dan-Dan is there and I want to have dinner with him and the other Veronica. I will probably be chilling for a while since they both have to work. But I can try to arrange for an oil change while I'm hanging out. I also want to find a place that will do warranty work for me close to where I'll be staying. I figure I'll be getting in about a week before I start work, so if they can take care of some {hopefully all} of it, then I can just go to the park and stay there for the 3 months without having to move the rig again. I'll see what happens...
