Some Livejournal threads, if they were books, could only be illustrated by Gerald Scarfe.

He illustrated Hunter Thompson's books, and did the animation for Pink Floyd's The Wall.

I am not a fan of porn, although since I see my issue with it as a moral objection, I don't think we should legislate against it. My biggest issue with porn is that it sets up unreasonable expectations for body image and sexual performance. This is similar to my problem with the media--specifically the cult of celebrity and the high fashion world--which expects women to look a certain way and if they don't not, they are thought of as lazy, disgusting failures.

I'm sure my objections could be construed as prudish or uptight, but I am certainly not anti-sex.

Dude, I'd have banned them all so fast they'd still be crying about it.

I really REALLY hate the "x-post" bullshit which is just a thinly veiled excuse for community promotion. I mean, if people are members of one, who cares if you post it in others without announcing it everywhere? Further, if one really is trying to save the friendspages of those who may be in both, then one should put the whole goddamn thing behind a cut.

And finally - anyone who is anti-porn is obviously a communist. =P
