(no subject)
I've got 15 minutes to kill before I need to catch the bus to head to campus and start my big day, so I figured it was a good time to update.
I decided to go home this weekend. I think i was kind of getting homesick.....which is sort of weird cause I've never really considered myself to get that way, but I think I was. I just missed my family. It was good to be with them. I hadn't been home since I came up to school, and only saw them for a little bit when we all went up to gainsville, so it was nice to spend some time with them. My sister didn't come home, but I did talk to her she was going to the football game.
Mainly I just relaxed while I was home, which was much needed. My mom and I went shopping though cause I needed a buisness suit and shoes for when I go to the SWE national conference. That was semi-frusterating lol. I need to shop for stuff like that with my mom cause she makes me look at things and try them on....but I'm a little too picky and they also don;t make my size!!! It was SO annoying. Smalls usually sell out quickly cause they don't produce as many, but even many of the stores smallest ones were at leat a half a size too big. I'm too thin for the regulars and too tall for the petits. They need to make tall petits, haha but I don't think such a thing exists. So basically, I'll need to buy regular suits and get them taylored when I want one. blah. For the convention though....I'll be the one walking around with a safty pin holding up my pants haha.
